Drop-in Rehearsals Available! Are you or your band in town for a few days, a week, or even a few months and don’t have a full-sized piano or drum kit at home? We got you covered.
We rent our rooms BY THE HOUR! Practice hard then take a break and go to the coffee shop next door. We are conveniently located and have everything you need for a successful practice.
This resource is best for traveling teachers, traveling musicians or artists and New Orleans residents who need a welcoming creative space to make music. Sign up!
Pricing
$10 per Hour
Individual Rehearsals
10$ for Each Additional Hour
- Have full access to either Piano Room 1, Piano Room 2, the String Room and Drum Room.
- Play on a full acoustic upright Steinway Piano or a rustic Wurlitzer or Ludwig Drumkit.
- Perfect for a solo pianist, vocalist, woodwind & string players and drum set players needing a place to practice.
- Must be 16 Year or older
- Limited to 1 person per room (guardian supervision allowed if renter is under the age of 16).
- Max 3 Hour Rental/Rehearsal (Additional Hour Available)
- No smoking or drinking in facility
- Piano Room 1 and Piano Room 2 is best for solo pianist and vocalist.
- Woodwinds and Strings are best in the String Room
- Drummers and Brass are best in the Drum Room
- Best time to rent 9:00am-3:00pm.
$20 per Hour
Band Rehearsals (2+ Member)
10$ for Each Additional Hour
- Have full access to either Drum Room or Practice Room 5.
- Play on a full acoustic upright Steinway Piano or a rustic Wurlitzer or Ludwig Drumkit.
- Perfect for bands requiring a drum set or amps.
- Must be 16 Year or older
- Must be 2 or more person per room (guardian supervision allowed if renter is under the age of 16).
- Max 3 Hour Rental/Rehearsal (Additional Hour Available)
- Suggested band size 5-8 band members (schedule a visit if more players).
- No smoking or drinking in facility
- Best room for all genres of music is the Drum Room.
- Piano Room 2 is NOT recommended for Band Rehearsals
- Piano Room 1 is best for 2-3 guest with a piano and vocal/ piano and instrument combo.
- Best time to rent 9:00am-3:00pm.
$150- $250 per Month
Nola VIP Unlimited Rehearsals
- Be able to schedule rehearsals and practice sessions freely.
- Teach your existing students at Spreading the Music and have full access to our printer, office supplies, sheet music and more!
- Have full access to either Piano Room 1, Piano Room 2, the String Room and Drum Room.
- Play on a full acoustic upright Steinway Piano or a rustic Wurlitzer or Ludwig Drumkit.
- Perfect for a solo pianist, vocalist, woodwind & string players and drum set players needing a place to practice.
- Must have paid for either 3 Individual Rehearsals or 3 Band Rehearsals for eligibility.
- Must be 16 Year or older
- Max 3 Hour Rental/Rehearsal (Additional Hour Available)
- No smoking or drinking in facility
- Reserve 3 Individual Rehearsals, 3 Band Rehearsals, or a combination FIRST before becoming a VIP.
- Having a consistent practice or rehearsal session schedule aids in higher availability.
