Who are we?
Spreading the Music is Uptown New Orleans Music School, providing after-school and in-school private lessons, group classes, ensemble work, curriculum development, and teacher and administrative support. We currently serve 180 students at our location, and 5 local public, private, and charter schools, and are looking to expand. This is a convenient option for parents who don’t want to travel to a separate location, and it has minimal administration on the school’s part. It also adds more benefits to your music program.
What do we do?
We provide five customizable in-school and after-school music programs, curriculum development programs and music support to local New Orleans and greater New Orleans charter, public, and private schools.

Our Services
Schools choose one of the programs below and pick day and budget. We will staff a number of quality music/art teachers to host classes both online and in-person. Through our program, students will be spreading the music to family and friends by singing a song they love or compose; learning abundant new musical concepts based on a variety of songs, instruments, genres, styles, and performance; and tangible art projects they can be proud to share with their family. We will be coming fully equipped with instruments, music, art supplies, and downloadable online music and art programs.
