March 2018 Newsletter

Hi there Spreading the Music Family,

Welcome back to our monthly newsletter, keeping you up to date with everything you need to know about uptown music education.

Let’s start off with a joke shall we?

Ok…let’s get to it!

WE HAVE THREE CONCERTS COMING UP THIS MONTH. Two off-campus recitals and one-in house recital. Check out specific information below. Parents! We are making programs for both our String and Piano Recitals. If you would like to request a specific time slot, either earlier or later in the program, you must email Candace Crawford at immediately to make adjustments. Deadlines for program changes is Monday, March 19th.

NO MORE BREAKS UNTIL THANKSGIVING: That’s right, Spreading the Music does not close for a single day until Thanksgiving Break. What does this mean if you have to go out of town for Memorial Day or will be out for the summer? As long as you give your teacher 24 hours notice, we will happily provide you with a make-up lesson. If you will be gone for the summer, or multiple dates and can’t swing a make-up time, send us an email with your dates and we will either take you off of automatic billing or prorate you until you are back. The only condition is we must be informed BEFORE the 1st of the month. Remember, we charge by month, not by lesson, so the process must be done in advance.

HOW DOES IT WORK WHEN MY TEACHER IS OUT OF TOWN AND I’M PROVIDED A SUB? Just come to your normal lesson time as you usually do and you will be greeted by an absolutely wonderful human being (your sub) who loves teaching music. They have everything they need to have a successful lesson with you. Parents will be given specific information about your sub before their lesson, just in case you are running late. It’s always good to switch it up sometimes!

TELL PEOPLE ABOUT US! Spread the Music to your friends and family and let them know there is a cute music school behind Mojo Coffee. Write reviews, grab business cards, volunteer if you are able. We would love to be a major giving member of our community and would like your support.

That’s all for now. Thanks as always for Spreading the Music with us and see you next month!
